This is a blog to inspire myself to lose a few extra pounds and ultimately just become more toned.

I just dragged our treadmill out from storage and decided to break it in tonight to get myself into the habit of using it again. I only walked at a fairly brisk pace (2.7 mph) for 30 minutes, but the treadmill itself said I burned 225 calories.
I felt like this was way too much, so I checked loseit (which I’m still using for now) and it marked it as only 71 burned. Thinking this was way too inconsistent, I checked healthstatus.com (first one to show up in a google search) and it marked me somewhere around 148 (I had to round speed of walking up to 3mph, so I knew this wouldn’t be completely accurate).
So I guess my quick question is this: What the hell! How am I supposed to know what is accurate and what to use? Is there a good calorie calculator of sorts out there that is widely used, or what?

Anyone ever notice how all the “thinspo” are images of women either lying down or leaning looking like they’re about to fall over?
And all the “fitspo” are images of muscular, healthy women running/boxing/climbing mountains/DOING a kick-a$$ activity?
Reblog if you choose strength over skinniness :)
